Upper North Falls

            The snow is not too common up here in the Portland Area.  So when we got the huge storm that dumped a ton of snow on the whole area, we tried to get out as much as possible.  Its a bit of a catch 22 though, because when the snow is good, the driving conditions are horrible.  Its hard to want to get out when the news is saying, "if you leave the house, you will die." Then they show the freeway with an overturned car every 20 feet.  But we grabbed the chains and went out as often as we could. There was only one time we turned back because we just could not make it.  

So here is yet another snowy waterfall.  I was hoping for more ice as well.  I have not yet had the nerve to put on the waders and venture out into the water to get some shots.  I need to though, maybe on the next trip out.
