YELLOW-BREASTED BRUSH-FINCH Atlapetes latinuchus. A Yellow-breasted Brush-Finch is emerging from between two tree trunks at the Yanacocha Reserve on the northwestern slopes of Volcán Pichincha just west of Quito in northwestern Ecuador at 12:40 PM on September 17, 2016.

The Yellow-breasted Brush-Finch is a neotropical finch in the avian family Emberizidae. it also goes by the names Rufous-naped Brush-Finch and Cloud-forest Brush-Finch. The scientific name was formerly Atlapetes rufinucha.

The Yellow-breasted Brush-Finch lives in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Perú.
