Mossy Stream, Kawhaka Forest, West Coast

            Even though we've had some rain on the West Coast in the last week, this stream near the Kumara and Kapitea Reservoirs was considerably lower than it was a week ago. This summer has brought the hottest, driest weather the West Coast has known for decades, possibly longer.
