Red Cliffs Nat'l Conservation Area: Red Rocks & Movie Ruins

            Right across I-15 from where we were staying at St. George RV Resort in Hurricane, Utah, there are these beautiful red cliffs which are part of the Red Cliffs National Conservation Area. There was an underpass so that we could drive/bike/walk to the other side of the freeway and either just enjoy the view or go hiking.

When I went over there, I could see these old ruins in the distance, so took one of the trails to go see what it was. It turned out to be the remains of an old movie set, used during the filming of the 1959 movie, 'They Came To Cordura,' starring Gary Cooper. (12-03-14-6338-6339)
