It's been an absolute age since I posted up any architectural stuff, also ages since I posted up any black and white images, so why not kill 2 birds with one stone...? (note: no real birds
where harmed in the making of this image) I was uploading images to another site today for competitions and came across this one which I'd totally forgotten all about.

A comletely unplanned shot, I'd stopped at a mates in Edinburgh at short notice and we had only got back to his flat about 1am on the Saturday night after numerous 'light refreshments' then sat up drinking Whisky for a while more.... I don't recall much of the way up that staircase so no photo's had been planned to be taken there... the day after we headed up for some much needed Sunday Lunch and straight away I saw this old staircase from the top floor, needless to say lunch was delayed while I got my camera... this was shot from the bottom floor.

you'd never find this place in a million years, especially as it's a private residence, and was just sheer luck I had my camera stuff... the exposure wasn't exactly easy as I had no tripod, but you just work with what you have...
