Question: Is analogue photography disappearing?

I remember all of the times I simply couldn't afford film (ten years in developing countries). And I also remember the number of times film photos simply didn't work out. Or how humidity ruined film, or ruined negatives. Or how there weren't good ways to store film negatives in my nomadic life. And how I didn't have access to any of the tools I take for granted now, and which I use with, say, images like the one above.

I think digital photography has democratised the image. Many more moments have been preserved. What do you think?
