Super flower blood moon - a photo on Flickriver

On Wednesday morning I got up at 2:30am, which is very unusual for me as a night owl - sometimes I go to bed at that time. We went to the top of a 4 story parking building in Palo Alto, California, to get a glimpse of the lunar eclipse. Total eclipse was at 4:18am local California time - this is the image in the upper left. We were actually at the edge of the total eclipse, so you still can see a sliver of bright sunlight at the top. I took the second image at 2/3 totality at 4:55am. For this image I took two shots, one exposed for the dark side, and one for the bright side. The dynamic range is extremely large, based on the camera settings it is a 5 stop difference, e.g. the sun-lit part is 32 times brighter than the dark side.

I processed balanced HDR photos from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
