Red blood moon over the Silicon Valley [Explore 2022-05-17 #18]

After taking a shot of a partial moon eclipse over the Lick Observatory I returned home and looked at the sky. There it was, a big red moon. The light is much fainter than usual because most the Earth blocked most of the sunlight from hitting the moon. Weather-forecast was overcast, we were lucky that the sky was clear, with just some haze.

I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
