#50 Adam Wainwright - Cubs vs Cardinals - Busch Stadium - St. Louis, Missouri

Decided last night to hunt up a photograph of one of my favorite all-time St. Louis Cardinal players, Adam Wainwright, taken last season in St. Louis against the Cubs, to use today as a 'shout-out' for the amazing performance he had last night in the World Baseball Classic (WBC). At 41 years old, he started the game, got into immediate trouble with bases loaded and no outs, and managed to get out of that inning with only one run scored! He then went on to pitch 3 more shut-out innings against Cuba to pick up his 2nd win in the WBC. Congratulations to Waino and the entire USA Baseball team on earning a trip into the Championship Game...good luck and everyone chant with me...U...S...A...U...S...A!!
