Locomotive History
Originally 13236 was built at Darlington Works and entered traffic in February 1956, allocated to Hull Dairycoates MPD. It became D3236 under the 1957 renumbering scheme and 08168 under the 1973 TOPS renumbering scheme. It would spend the next thirty one years at Hull moving between Diarycoates and Springhead and finally at Botanic Gardens when they both closed. In January 1987 it left Hull and transferred to York from where it was withdrawn in March 1988. It has since spent time at York Works, the Battlefield line and the Bluebell Railway
