Magic Mountain - a photo on Flickriver

Magic Mountain

            Mt. Si. Cascade mountain range, Washington State, USA.

I had already given up on this sunset. I started out with two tripods, one of them supporting a Fuji GW690III with Ektar 100, the other one this Sigma DP2 Merrill. By the time I packed up the Fuji, I noticed the red/purple glow creeping up the mountain along the trees, I started photographing on the Merrill while setting up another camera on the other tripod for a differing field of view.

I only had to do minimal post processing on the Merrill file. White balance setting: Overcast; Color Mode: Landscape.
