            El viejo caserón

Al viejo caserón se le debilitaron los huesos,
Las ventanas abiertas porque le ahogan todas las estaciones,
Huele a primavera en otoño y a verano en invierno.
La sangre no circula y las paredes están frías.
Ya no mira a la huerta porque no hay huerta, 
Ya no escucha a la gente porque no hay gente,
Pero erguido y siempre con sus medallas puesta,
Permanece intacto en el recuerdo y marcial en el olvido.
