St. Rupert

            Wiesenfelden lies on a plateau in the Bavarian Forest Nature Park. The nature reserve "Weiherlandschaft bei Wiesenfelden" is well known. 

On the edge of the nature reserve is the neighbouring church of St. Rupert, which is located on a hill just outside Wiesenfelden. Because of the Way of the Cross leading to the church, the crucifixion group from the 19th century and the "Holy Sepulchre" from the 18th century, St Rupert's church used to be a popular destination for Stations of the Cross and Passion devotions.

Wiesenfelden liegt auf einer Hochebene im Naturpark Bayerischer Wald. Bekannt ist das Naturschutzgebiet "Weiherlandschaft bei Wiesenfelden". 

Am Rande des Naturschutzgebietes liegt die Nebenkirche St. Rupert, Sie befindet sich auf einem Hügel ein wenig außerhalb von Wiesenfelden. Wegen des Kreuzweges, der zur Kirche führt, der Kreuzigungsgruppe aus dem 19. Jh und dem "Heiligen Grab" aus dem 18. Jh. war die Kirche St. Rupert früher ein beliebtes Ziel für Kreuzweg- u. Passionsandachten.
