LIVING IN THE PAST

            SOMEWHERE IN CHATHAM COUNTY: The Confederate flag on the roof makes it a lot easier for Attorney General Eric Holder and his new Drone Air Force to spot this place. I first came upon this building about 10 - 15 years ago and it appeared to be as dead then as it is now.  But, to my surprise, a Confederate flag still flies high above the building. 

Behind the truck is a message painted on a boarded up window that reads:  "Our own sold us out under this flag."  To be honest, I don't know which 'our own' the person refers to.  My best guess would be General Robert E. Lee, painted on another boarded up window, astride his horse, Traveller.
