            Cunards Queen Mary 2 currently anchored off the South Devon coastline due to the Corona Virus pandemic preventing her from sailing around the world.

The RMS Queen Mary 2 is a British transatlantic ocean liner and has served as the flagship of the Cunard Line since succeeding Queen Elizabeth 2 in 2004. Her maiden voyage was on the 12th January 2004 after being built at a cost of £460 million and is 345 m long and as of 2017 the only purpose built passenger ship designed as an ocean liner as opposed to cruise ship. Her top speed is 30 knots (56km/h / 35 mph) and can carry 2695 after her refit in 2016.

Lets hope she can get sailing again around the world very soon but for now here she is captured from Babbacombe Downs, Torquay looking out across Lyme Bay.
