33-84-BF MORRIS Minor 1000 2-Door Saloon 1966

            Plans for the development of a new small family car started at the Morris office in 1941. Due to military production obligations, the project was delayed. Civil car production continued in late 1945 and finally in October 1948 the new Minor was ready for launch.
The design was done by Sir Alec Issigonis (1906-1988).
The Minor was also available as 4-door saloon, as an estate car (the Traveller), as panel van, and as a pickup truck.
 
Seen on the temporary car park on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Dutch Studebaker / Packard Club Nederland (SPCN).
