Alice Met a (Grumpy) Dragon - a photo on Flickriver

Just as Miffy the rabbit foretold, Alice encountered a dragon.
Noticing the dragon grumbling, Alice introduced herself and asked "Are you alright?"
"No, I am not," explained the dragon, "Lunar New Year is in a few days, and I am small. You, a mere girl, tower over me. How am I supposed to represent the Year of the Dragon grandly and magnificently if I am so tiny? I expected a growth spurt or something by now."
"I have been many sizes," explained Alice, "not only the size you see me today, but also very small, and so large my head was above the clouds. Even so, I was always still myself. My character, strengths and weaknesses remained the same. Maybe I was a little braver when I was very large, but I was still Alice."
"Hmmph!" said the dragon.
"Perhaps your greatness lies not in your size, but in your character," posited Alice. "You are a dragon, after all, grand and magnificent by nature, regardless of size."
