57305 | Pollokshaws Road - a photo on Flickriver

            DRS' 57305 'Northern Princess' - on long term hire to Rail Operations Group - is seen leading 334017 and 37601 on a move from Polmadie to Shields T.M.D. - running as 8T10.

The Class 334 had been involved in a collision with cattle in early May 2018 and sustained damage to the bodywork and some mechanical/electrical components. It was moved to Polmadie on 11/06/2018 for assessment by Alstom (& other parties no doubt) and has remained there since then. It was released to Shields depot today before being moved to Brodie Engineering for repairs.

This Class 57 is one of two currently on long term hire to Rail Operations Group for rolling stock moves. Both 57s retain the general Northern Belle colour scheme but the branding has either been removed or covered over.

The lines on the left are part of the WCML and lead to and from Glasgow Central High Level. The old bridge parapet once carried the railway lines that ran to and from the former St Enoch station.
