From the Highlands to the Lowlands - a photo on Flickriver

            Last time I visited Blackford I was lucky to have seen one Classic HST set, whereas this time I must have seen 5 or 6 refurbished sets - a sign of the progress being made.

One of those sets was HA24 - sandwiched between 43144 and 43037 - which was running South for what I assume will be a C4 bogie overhaul on the coaches at Brodie Engineering. This move was operated by ROG on ScotRail's behalf and ran under 5S08 from Inverness to Kilmarnock.
