Highland Rail in the Lowlands - a photo on Flickriver

            After climbing Beattock bank and having a breather in the loop at the summit 66097 is seen getting back into it's stride. It's pictured passing Bodsbury during a rain shower with 6K17 from Carlisle N.Y. to Paisley Gilmour St.

Something I hadn't noticed before was that this loco carries the "Highland Rail" stag logo on one side, but I can't seem to find out if there's a particular reason for it. I know the loco was involved in the Transport Scotland / HiTrans / HIE "Lifting the Spirit" trial in 2013 that looked at moving spirits and other goods in bulk from the Highland region (Elgin specifically) to Grangemouth, so maybe that ties into it?
