            Pallid Swifts (Apus pallidus)
A photo montage of birds taken in Spain over some years.
This is not a single photograph.

The western Pallid Swifts are not as brown coloured as the Middle Eastern birds. Presumably this regional variations but it could be that some scientific studies be undertaken to compare areas where birds breed and migrate to and from.
Fortunately this is a species that is not under any threat - as yet.
Photographing swift species is a tricky business for most photographers - and I include myself in the MOST group!
