Acoma Pueblo: Sky City - a photo on Flickriver

            I recently spent 3 weeks in New Mexico. My first stop upon entering the state was Acoma Pueblo, also know as Sky City. Acoma Pueblo sits on top of a 367 ft. (112 meters) high mesa, and was built around 1100 AD. It is the oldest continuously inhabited community in North America. The San Estevan Del Rey Mission Church was constructed between 1629 and 1641.
