Cows in My Back Yard Again! - a photo on Flickriver

            It must be a Sunday morning, because this seems to be what the cows next door like to do to kill time while waiting for the farmer to roll out of bed and get them their breakfast.  We enjoyed the company of five juvenile bulls for about twenty minutes or so, while they chewed up the lawn, tore up the weeds and asparagus (from the roots!) in the fallow vegetable garden, and playfully butted heads in typical youthful displays of dominance.  A good time was had by all.

Normally, I'll come down off the deck and see how close I can get with the camera, but with five bulls this time, I decided to stay put for once.
