Angry Evangelism, City of Bath, England

            Today on the streets of Bath in England... a candid street shot. I found this all-American group of King James Version only "Christians" that were stood around in a large circle taking up most of the (very wide) street to be obnoxious. Their gospel (gospel means good news ha ha, way to deliver good news, guysl) was angry and their people skills lacking to say the least.

I was accused by one right away before I said anything at all of taking pictures to put them in a bad light. I said not at all and that I took pictures of interesting people. I didn't say, if the cap fits... 

Another one actually glowered at me when I said I already knew the gospel and indeed the Bible very well and had concluded  that it was not true. "Was it the King James Version?" The New Testament In the Greek and Aramaic, actually (and more). I don't think he expected THAT.

The group was all male. Not sure where the women were. Being good little wives reading the NKJV I guess.... 

As you can. see, a couple of guys were filming, presumably for Youtube.

While this guy was yelling (you could hear him right up the street), there were a couple of Jehovahs Witness women stood silently evangelising - if you can call it that - at a stand to the right of this picture. A great juxtaposition showing the cultural and religious differences at play here. I don't have any time for either (except to take pics) but just saying...

Ha ha, just as I finished writing this, Depeche Mode "Your Own Personal Jesus" played randomly on my playlist.... it's a sign!!!
