Please please please view this one BIGGER, flickr really did a number on all the hard work I did here.

Clarissa started school today. Everything seemed to go well for her... so far. Otherwise nothing notable really happened today.

This evening when I got home there was a terrible stench coming from our garbage can outside. I'm not sure what it was, but it sure was attracting some flies.

So on that note I grabbed my camera and my macro lens and began to photograph them... which of course gave me this idea. So I photographed all the elements separately and the comped them together. It was a lot harder than I originally thought it would be.

Man flickr can screw up the contrast and sharpness sometimes.

Strobist Info: For the fly and the grass it was diffused sunlight at camera right. For the human it was and Alien Bee's B800 through a softbox at camera right.
