Snowy mountains... (Explored) - a photo on Flickriver

            It had snowed the day before, and the day after was grey, foggy and cold. So I spontaneously decided to travel to the mountain Niederhorn, where the sun shines above the clouds. It was still cold at almost 2000 m, but the sun was shining and the view on the sea of fog was once again fantastic. And as it happens, the last gondola descends just as the sun is setting. I had no choice but to go down into the thick grey soup. But just before, from the gondola, the sky showed itself in all its glory (see next picture). 

Es hatte am Tag zuvor geschneit, der Tag danach war grau, nebelig und kalt. So habe ich ganz spontan beschlossen, auf das Niederhorn zu reisen, wo die Sonne über den Wolken scheint. Kalt war es auf knapp 2000 m immer noch, doch die Sonne schien und die Aussicht auf dem Nebelmeer war wieder mal traumhaft. Und wie es so ist, knapp bei Sonnenuntergang fährt die letzte Gondel hinunter. Mir blieb nichts anderes übrig als in die dicke graue Suppe hinunter zu steigen. Doch kurz davor, von der Gondel aus, zeigte sich der Himmel noch in seiner ganzen Pracht (siehe nächstes Bild). (17.12.22)
