Headstone For Mathew B. Brady, 1823 [?] - January 15, 1896 (Congressional Cemetery, DC)

In 1875 Brady sold ca. 7,000 glass negatives to the government for $25,000.

Among those who worked for or with him on these photographs were: Egbert Guy Fox, Alexander Gardner, James Gardner, David Knox, Timothy O'Sullivan, D. B. Woodbury. And others.
