47, B747GSC - a photo on Flickriver

47, B747GSC

            Same service, same location as the previous picture. This time the usual allocated Olympian is back after being used on another service substituting for an Olympian on MOT 47, B747GSC is an ECW bodied TL11 engined Leyland Olympian new to Lothian in September 1984. It transfered to Keighley & District about a year ago after being used at  Lancashire United Blackburn depot, and is used almost exclusively on service 360 between Riddlesden & the University Academy of Keighley - better known as Greenhead. This bus is remarkably well kept, and drives quite well considering it's almost 29 years old!
