            Cascais's Parque Marechal Carmona (Marechal Carmona Park) is home to Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães.

This fountain is integrated into the exterior architectural design of the palace is located on the right side of the palace entrance,

This  fountain is one of two similar panelled fountains in the park

The panel of tiles from the 17th century was applied to the back.  in shades of blue and white representing the Assembly of theologians on the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception.

The panel is attributed to Bartolomeu Antunes and was probably removed from a Franciscan convent. 

At the base of the backrest, a stone lion (lioz), resting on a plinth under the water line of the tank, supplies a small three-lobed reservoir, made with limestone stonework with a round and thickened rim, curved in a framed bulge. .
