Let the Games Begin--At Brickworld! - a photo on Flickriver

            Super excited! 

This year will be the first that I attend Brickworld as well as the first time that I will be putting creations of mine in a public display! I’m very ecstatic, and I’m already having fun with the planning and early building stages (If that can even could as being “Brickworld” as far?!)

Anyways, since Brickworld is coming up, I’m starting my layout builds now. This is in large part due to the scale of the creations, which is way out of my norm for me. Shown here is a small section of the (Chances are) one and only Batman creation I will be displaying. Don’t be dismayed though; it’s big—50 studs in length, with a yet undetermined height! I’ve been collecting pieces for the past few weeks already, and it looks like I’m going to need far more than I first thought! 

I’m also very excited today specifically since seeing my email; I found that Brickworld is also having a new contest this year. In conjunction with DC Comics and Lego, Brickworld is staging a Batman MOC creation contest celebrating the 75 years of Batman. And everyone knows how much I love me a contest build! So that works out well, considering I was already going to build this.  

I’ll also note that this is most likely the only Batman creation I’ll be bringing; it will be a one build small layout on my table next to another small layout I’m making; but mums the word on that right now! And on a related note, it does sadden me that because of my Brickworld building, it is likely that I will be posting less and less builds as the big day comes near; however I’ll try and throw some smaller things together as we reach June.
