How well do we cope with uncertainty? How easy is it to convince ourselves that we know the truth, when in fact we only really know what we have chosen to believe?

And on a more serious note: God, it took me too long to cut out those golden chandeliers in photoshop - at least I now know how to use the pen tool :-D I slightly desaturated and darkened the background. In the original shot the chandeliers were mixed/lost to the background and there was no sense of depth. It was crazy how red the reds actually were and as for the green and gold carpet!!! Still wondering whether I should have dropped the red even more....
