Miraculous Staircase - a photo on Flickriver

It was my second visit and after more than twenty years, I finally had a decent phone to capture it handheld without the need of tripod. In my first visit, my wife carried a 4-megapixel Nikon Coolpix and I was carrying a Sony Digital8 camcorder. My wife took some blurry photos of the chapel interior without a tripod. That was then. Who knows what might happen in another twenty years. Perhaps, they might solve the mysteries surrounding this staircase.
