RD24392(vid) Trains at Tanybwlch on the 2ft gauge Ffestiniog Railway in North Wales – part 1.

Tanybwlch is the terminus of the popular ‘Woodland Wanderer’ trains from Porthmadog Harbour Station; these trains are made up with historic heritage carriages and are usually hauled by one of the Railway’s smaller steam locomotives.

The first train in this short video is recently restored George England 0-4-0ST/T WELSH PONY arriving with a ‘Woodland Wanderer’ from Porthmadog. Once this has come to a stand the points are changed and ex Penrhyn Quarry Railway 2-4-0ST/T Hunslet BLANCHE then departs back to Porthmadog with an earlier ‘Woodland Wanderer’.
