Classic Castle: Landfill building site outside the ringed wall around the capital a weak link in the towns hard chain of defense (AFOL medieval moc vignette with minifigures)

            The king had put down a minor rebellion in a small outskirt village, he was riding past the south eastern gate to enter the capital!

This was both the closest way home and also a gate almost destroyed by barbarians where they passed the mote and demolished the outer defenses...

That was two years ago, so he wanted to inspect it, since he had employed the Town mage to put up highly modern experimental new defenses, since then the mage had asked for new money all the time, since he needed to install more things...

when they came closer they saw what looked like a dump landfill, nothing was ready, all over was a mess of building materials and half-finished constructions... where had all that gold the king pored in to the warlocks abyssal pockets gone?

The king though to himself, how shall I punish this old fool this time...

He has pulled all of my toes once more, just pure luck there wasn´t a fresh barbarians siege or attack on this flank!
