            ...since the Death of the Mad Monk and despot "tragic" passing the two queens had had an uneasy power struggle behind the icy curtains in the winter palace... but in the end they both knew that it was just once solution to their problems, both nations laws had and that was a: trial by combat! were the victor was the one still standing, not necessarily by the death but that outcome could be a possibility...

in front of cheering supporters from the two allied faction they chose the weapons, Sven-Inge chose her poleaxe while Svetlana used her roman styled short sword...

the both swore on their holy scripture that the outcome would be juridically  binding!

to cheers of overexcited slavic tribesmen and Scandinavian vikings the fight started...

- Hey Sweatlana I know where you have hidden your baby and if I win I will order you to give it away to heathen barbarians to foster as a human piglet!

- Oh, Really Dearest sister of the North, icy cold woman, don´t you think I know where you lovechild is hidden, actually if I win I will raise him as the second hand to my son, so he always can grovel by his feet and know that my bloodline is the pure one of the late Emperor Franz...

this is how it went on for hours, until both queens where to tired to fight proper and after just half an hour of fighting the both agree to postpone it for a future date...

Perhaps so they could poison their opponents by clandestine means until that time...
