Photograph Number 2 ... - a photo on Flickriver

            This is a composite of about twelve images that I took over the last year or so. Most of the images are of various forms of technology from the 1950's to the 2010's. I am not sure if I processed the image too much or not, but I wanted to obtain a flattened painted look with this composition. I chose the processing to provide high-contrast and sharp transitions across the image. My intention was to convey the idea of a person looking for someone in a sea of technological noise. I am not sure why it is, but I keep thinking of the idea of self-alienation when I consider technological progress. This image is part of that thought process. I hope you like the result.
