Staten Island Ferry, January 1977.

            Taken while on the Circle Line ferry returning from the Statue of Liberty. According to Wikipedia, this vessel was in service from 1965 until 2007, and was scrapped in 2013. It was a cold January day, even colder in the late afternoon when this image was taken. Originally taken on Kodachrome 64 using a Canon FTb and likely a Soligor 135mm f/3.5 lens. Copied with a Nikon D5500 using an ES-1 adapter. The time when my family lived in NY/NJ now seems very long ago.
