Thing Number 1

            We had hundreds of young readers in on and around World Book Day, with the local primary school bringing them around class by class to pick out their WBD books and use their special WBD vouchers. Very noisy but a lot of fun to see so many kids excited by reading. A lot of the youngsters dressed up as favourite book characters - sadly couldn't take photos (would require all sorts of parental permissions) of the little ones, but here is my colleague who spent the day dressed up as Thing Number 1 from The Cat in the Hat!
