Corfe Castle Splendour - a photo on Flickriver

            Even on a dull, wet day, the splendour of the Swanage Railway's Corfe Castle station and signal box is evident. Add to the mix the passing of a former LSWR 'Greyhound', Drummond Class T9 No. 30120, and even the weather cannot detract from the scene. This was taken during a 30742 Charter's photographic event on the Swanage Railway during the morning session before a very wet and windy front passed over the Dorset coast, which curtailed proceedings for a couple of hours.
