It is usually served with grilled pork (either ribs or shredded) plus the Vietnamese dish bì (thinly shredded pork mixed with cooked and thinly shredded pork skin). The dish cơm tấm bì comes with a chả trứng egg meatloaf."

A quick dinner in the airport between flights.
Enjoyed the sweet tasting succulent grilled pork as well as that rather chunky but flavourful egg meatloaf with the glass noodles in it.
The shredded pork skin however, tasted like bland rubber bands and were more amusing than tasty.
