View on Heddersvatnet - a photo on Flickriver

On the morning of the 26th day of my trip in Norway, I was a little depressed. The weather didn't look good again and predictons also not good, my trip was nearing to its end, so I had the thought it was all over and I had to go to Oslo. But then I read somewhere that the most beautiful mountain of Norway (Gaustatoppen, www.visitnorway.nl/listings/gaustatoppen/50334/) was close by! So i took a detour and went to Guastatoppen, and although it was clouded, and the scenery was not as spectacular as on the pictures in the link, the scenery was great, the trip up the mountain a nice distraction and when I came upon the final part, the sky opened up again, with the resulting landscape depicted here. Gaustatoppen is not visible because that was 180 degrees the other way around, and the top was completely clouded. So in the end, another wonderful day, full with amazing pictures!!

Lovely valleys, bare mountains and cold winds, snow packs, glaciers, beautiful lakes, and then there are the enchanting fjords that never stop to amaze. The most beautiful country of Europe, for me no doubt about that, with only one minor aspect, which is the weather. During my month of traveling I only had 4 really nice days, the rest of the time clouds, rain, and very changeable! Still no regret, and I will go back to make even more than the 3500 pictures that I took this time.

Another very active vacation that took me to the south west up to Trondheim in a sort of triangle between Oslo- Trondheim and Bergen with the whole route visible here (www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153668247101759&set...).
