Kirkjufjara beach - a photo on Flickriver

Kirkjufjara beach

            Kirkjufjara beach is one of those places in Iceland where you can find numerous images on Flickr. It is very scenic, and if you are lucky you can see puffins flying all around you. I saw them too, but they were too far away to make some decent shots, so I have to go back once for that.

I took this image with a 100mm macrolens, and the reason for that is, that you then can include a bit of the glacier of the Vatnajökull National park behind.
