Sights of Sicily (151) - a photo on Flickriver

            The morning of our last full day in Siracusa, I went snorkeling at this location.  The water was so clear, and I saw lots of fish.  They were not quite as colorful as tropical fish I have seen in the Caribbean or in Hawaii, but beautiful all the same.  

When I was done snorkeling, I was getting my stuff together, and hung my mask and snorkel on the railing of the platform in this photo.  Later that day, I realized I had left the mask hanging on the railing for what had been several hours.  I thought for sure it would be gone, but when I went back to check, it was still hanging there.  A minor miracle!   The mask can be seen hanging on the railing in this photo... extra credit goes to anyone who can spot it!
