Jingpeng Pass China 1999

            A freight train makes it's way slowly towards the summit of the Jingpeng pass on the Ji-Tong railway in the Inner Mongolian semi autonomous region of China. To the right of the locomotives exhaust the Si-ming-yi viaduct can be seen, know to us as curving viaduct for obvious reasons! The temperature is somewhere between minus 30c and 40c, the only sign of human activity is the train and a motor vehicle beyond the trees bottom right.
