Time to reveal the truth!
This image is an approximate 1:1 macro of the laser eye assembly/carriage of my external DVD writer.
(If your laptop has an internal or external DVD Drive now is the time to hit that eject button and check the tray, or look at your favourite CD player. beaming face with smiling eyes )


This should be an easy one to solve.
