            June 2007 and a trio of London double-decks provided a comparison of designs as they exited Whitehall into Parliament Square. Hard to believe that all three have since departed the capital to pastures new. From left to right a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident PDL31 in the Go-Ahead London General fleet on route 87 (Aldwych & Wandsworth); Metroline Travel TE689 an Alexander Dennis Trident with Enviro400 bodywork on route 24 (Hampstead Heath & Pimlico) and finally 17125 an Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident in the Stagecoach London fleet on route 53 (Whitehall & Plumstead Station).
