Sacra di San Michele, Piemonte, Italy

            The Sacra di San Michele is an ancient abbey built between 983 and 987 on top of Mount Pirchiriano (Piedmond region, Italy).
It is said that this monastery provided the inspiration for Umberto Eco's book "The Name of the Rose"
