Storm over Smith Rock - a photo on Flickriver

            One of my favorite images of Smith Rock comes a short half mile before entering it. This rural setting first captured my attention when Philip Kuntz posted a photo he'd taken from this spot. Since then I've re-visited it in each season and various weather moments. This image was taken shortly before the sky-faucet opened and poured much-needed rain over the area.
