Weird Insects! - a photo on Flickriver

Weird Insects!

Three progressive shots of a Stick Bug from left to right; full size bug (about 5 inches in length), eyes in the middle of it's back! (red arrow), and far right seems like prey or an egg (green arrow), this bug had a brownish skin sometime back but shed it to turn green!, don't know much about them but here is a wikipedia article:
