Agave - American var. franzosnii - a photo on Flickriver

            Native to the hot regions of the Americas and also the tropical areas of South America. The Agave is primarily know as a succulent and a xerophytic species that forms large strong fleshy looking leaves with sharp marginal teeth that are extremely sharp. Some species of Agave can live up to 60 years before flowering.
